The 'Triple A' RACQ rated 3½ star motel has 12 quality suites and one luxury suite with spa bath. The motel is small and thus Penny is able to give that extra personal touch, attention to detail and create a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Visitors boast about the clean and comfortable suites.

All suites are NON-SMOKING! Family suites are also available consisting of two interconnecting rooms and sleeps up to six people.

The Cara Motel is situated opposite the Maryborough Base Hospital at 196 Walker Street and next door to the Hospital Café.

It is minutes from all attractions, including the Brolga Theatre, Conference Centre, shops, golf course and sporting grounds. The Show Grounds are two kilometres away.

The Maryborough Airport is a five minutes drive and Hervey Bay Airport is a twenty-five minute drive. An airport shuttle bus is available to and from the airport at Hervey Bay. Public transport is available opposite the motel and a courtesy pick-up and drop-off is offered to and from the Maryborough Transit Centre for people travelling to Maryborough via the Tilt Train or bus.

Cara Motel has a 24 hour check-in with a night phone located outside Reception for those expecting a late arrival. The motel also has laundry facilities and a salt water swimming pool, solar heated in winter for your enjoyment. Breakfast is available seven days a week and evening meals are available from Monday - Thursday or by arrangement. A cut lunch is also available by arrangement. All meals are delivered to your suite at no extra charge.
